i just stumbled across this and had to leave a reply for the 1st time.there is just alot of bad feeling to these 2 shops.there are far better indepedant shops like ideal,slam,ss20 etc that are run by real skaters not just business men that love fleecing kids.
Well, whatever the feelings, Rollersnakes are the local skateshop here in Derby, and its a great one to have as that. Always lots of choice, good prices etc, which I know locals appreciate. If you have a shop in your city of course, support that, as they will help build that city scene.
In terms of the comp, we might enter for the fun of the skate and edit, but not to win... There are a lot of great skaters, filmers and editors entering so it could be anyone's game. A great comp to have though.
whos the young ginger boy.i have seen an old ginger boy who hangs around alot of the young kids.its a pity derby does not have a better skate shop in the city.i went uni there i have been back recently virtually all the older people moved away for new jobs etc.its sad that money, winng, and beating people has taken over.isnt it about style and fun.
rollersnakes and routeone fxck them all.
ReplyDeleteWell they are doing some good stuff toward the scene here in Derby, and competitions like this just add to skateboarding and help the scene grow.

ReplyDeleteagreed ^^^ no doubt that hooked wouldn't win this anyway because we all know the person who's running this competition favours that young ginger boy
