Epic park: Calais, France

Beautifully designed skatepark in Calais by Bang Architects.

The sides of the building were replaced with mesh to encourage natural light, and a vibrant orange out picks it out on the horizon. Have a look. Thanks to Julien Lanoo for the great photographs.

Hooked send a postcard home - Mallorca

The Hooked team (minus one) are out in Mallorca at the moment, soaking up some much needed sun and concrete.

The guys at Shine Skate Store, Palma have sorted the guys out with the best spots on the island and transport.

Thanks to Micky Shine and the team.

Tomorrow they're off to Can Pastilla to get some footage on this epic spot.

Derby Skatepark wins award

Nick Roberts had a picture in the paper again - this time to support the story of Derby Skatepark being an award winner.

'DERBY'S popular skate park has scooped a one-off special award because of its importance to young people in the city.

The park, on the Bass Recreation Ground, was acknowledged as a development which has helped make Derby a "brighter city".'
