We've been looking at different parks around England and skating them to get an idea of what makes great parks. This week we hit a small park in Chesterfield (http://www.extremesportsmap.com/uk/spot_details.php?spot_id=862)
to test out the facilities.
Rad Dad riding the tight five and a half foot mini
A big driveway
Some super steep banks
An air freshener
A nice metal rail to rub the Hooked deck graphic all over
This place was obviously rode by kids on bike, bringing all the scum in from the field. It's littered with small stones to throw you off, plus a dusty topping to make sure you take something (the dirt) home. A quiet park, a good place to learn some rail basics.
